The ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (Construction) qualification provides a nationally recognised qualification appropriate for those working as construction site managers in building and civil engineering, highways maintenance and repair, residential development, conservation, or demolition.
It is for learners who work or want to work as Construction Site Managers in the Construction sector.
What does the qualification cover?
It allows learners to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the Construction Site Manager’s sector.
Entry Requirements:In order to meet the assessment criteria candidates should be working in the role of construction site manager in building and civil engineering, highways maintenance and repair, residential development, conservation or demolition.

Candidates must complete ALL of the Mandatory units, plus the Mandatory/Optional requirements from one of the Pathways:
Pathway 1: Building and Civil Engineering
Pathway 2: Highways and Maintenance Repair
Pathway 3: Residential Development
Pathway 4: Conservation
Pathway 5: Demolition
How we deliver this qualification:
As this is a work-based qualification, learners must be working as a site manager relating to any one of the pathways. You will be sent a skill scan to assess your current knowledge and experience in all assessment critera, this will identify gaps to be covered during training.
There are no formal lectures, we will arrange with you to attend college for one to one tutorials, training, oral questioning, and a review of the evidence you have gathered at work. One of our experienced assessors will visit you at work to observe and assess your competency in practical assessment criteria.
We will be in touch with you every few weeks to review your progress and arrange a visit to the college or our assessor to visit you on site. As there are 19 units in this qualification and hundreds of questions to answer, we will help you to complete some of these with oral questioning either at the college or on-site during the visits.
Duration: The duration of the course depends on your motivation, experience, and the time you put into the gathering of evidence from work. This course can be completed in 3 to 6 months, we provide dedicated assessor support for 1 year.
